‘Rainbows’ is a specialised programme designed to support young people who have experienced loss through separation or bereavement.
Rainbows fosters emotional healing among young people who are grieving a loss through death, divorce, separation or any other painful transition in their lives.
We have some very sensitive, caring, specially trained adults who have committed themselves to helping our children put their feelings into words, work through their grief, build a stronger sense of self-esteem and begin to accept what has taken place in their family. It promotes emotional development and positive, healthy relationships.
If your child is part of a single parent family, a step family, has experienced the death of a family member, friend or sibling, or is struggling through a painful experience of loss, this will be an opportunity for them to share with a special person on the outside what is happening on the inside.
