Grease is certainly the word at Blessed Trinity as they take to the stage at the Mechanics next week.

A 100-strong cast will be treating you to three ‘Summer Nights’ from next Wednesday (11th July) to Friday, with Friday already sold out.
‘Hopelessly Devoted to You’ Sandy will be played by Lois and Bella while Greg will be strutting to ‘Greased Lightnin’ as Danny Zuko.

Grease03 Jul2018

Year 10 Greg said: “I have watched Grease over and over again since I knew we were doing it. I did originally audition for the part of Kenickie but I am happy with Danny.

“I am part of Burnley Youth Theatre and am studying GCSE music so I hope to do something with those in the future.”

Lois is hoping to go to Pendleton School of Performing Arts when she leaves Blessed Trinity and study Musical Theatre.

“I am really excited about playing Sandy, I love her songs.”

Grease02 Jul2018

The school is known for its strong theatre productions with Oliver! and Bugsy Malone in the last few years.

Tickets for the event are £6 adults and £3 concessions with a 7pm start.
Tickets are available from Blessed Trinity and Burnley Mechanics.
