Blessed Trinity student Tiggi was a hat-trick hero as Lancashire Under 14 girls won the Playstation Schools' Cup.

Striker Tiggi, who turned 14 last week, scored one in the first half and two after the break as the girls recorded a 4-0 win over Kent at Stoke City's bet365 Stadium in the Girls' Under 14 Inter-County Cup Final on Saturday.

Tiggi, who started out with Burnley Girls aged nine, also scored the winning goal in the semi-final against the West Midlands to take Lancashire through to the prestigious final.

Tiggi has just been offered a contract for the Under 16s at Blackburn Rovers Academy after coming through tough trials for their Regional Talent Club.

Tiggi is proving a goal-den girl as her double has already helped Lancashire Under 14s win the Northern League Cup this season, beating Durham 3-0.
