As year 11 pupils now near the end of their GCSE and Vocational examinations, we are pleased to share with you arrangements for Results Day 2025.

Results day falls on Thursday 21st August 2025 and we welcome our Year 11 pupils back into school on this day to collect their examination results. Examination results will be available for pupils to collect in the theatre from 9:00am – 11:00am. 

We understand that this can be a day of mixed emotions and therefore senior leaders, and other staff will be on hand both to share successes and also to support and guide pupils who may have questions or queries. In some cases, pupils may wish to apply for a review of marking and senior staff will be on hand to advise and explain any costs involved. Further information is available in our Exam Appeals Policy on the school website.

It is important to be aware that the results belong to the pupil and, although, most do collect them in person, where a pupil is unable to do this they must give their permission for their results to be collected by a nominated person or emailed. If this applies, please ask your child to contact Mr J Geoghegan the Examinations Officer (jgeoghegan@btrcc.lancs.sch.uk) to discuss preferred arrangements no later than Friday 25th July. 

Please note we cannot share GCSE results over the phone.
