Year 10 footballers at Blessed Trinity are hoping to make it a hat-trick of Lancashire Cup wins.

The team won the county trophy as Year Sevens and Eights and now face Clitheroe Grammar School in the final mid-May.

They beat St George's in Blackpool 3-0 in the first round before seeing off Ormskirk High School by the same scoreline in the second round.
In the third round they overcame Haslingden High School 3-2 and then in the quarter-finals beat Broughton High School in Preston 4-1. They celebrated a 5-2 victory over Holy Cross in Chorley in the semi-final.

They have a number of players at professional clubs: Luke Stowe, Jack Doherty and Jak McKinlay are at Accrington Stanley while striker Tom Claxton is at Rochdale.
