Job title: School Attendance Assistant
Grade: Grade 5, Point 6 – 11 £25,988.86 to £28,141.61 (£19,599.43 to £21,222.92 – pro rata)
Working Pattern: 33hpw; Monday, Wednesday Thursday & Friday 8:15am 3.15pm, Tuesday 8:30am – 4pm. Term-time only.
Contract: Permanent
Blessed Trinity RC College, part of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust, is a busy, over-subscribed, 1,250 place 11-16 establishment. We have an amazing, purpose built school, enabling us to provide the very best teaching and learning opportunities within a bright, modern facility.
The school is located in extensive grounds and is situated close to Burnley Town Centre. The school is easily accessed from across the region by bus, train and car and is located just five minutes’ drive from the M65, Junction 10.
We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, friendly and passionate School Attendance Assistant to join our school. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in our school community, supporting our pupils and families and contributing significantly to the improvement of attendance and punctuality within the school. We are looking for someone who: -
- Has experience or the willingness to undergo training
- Is confident around children
- Is friendly and approachable
- Is a solid team-player
- Has excellent communication skills
- Has the ability to work with children and their families in a sensitive and positive way
- Has planning, organisational and IT skills
The position will be ideally suited to someone with previous experience working within a busy school environment.
