AI controlled Nuclear Power Plant
Hello! My name is Freya and I am from Blessed Trinity RC College.
This is my Teen Tech Idea. It is named The Safe Standing Project! It is an A.I. run nuclear power plant. I made this as I got the idea from my Father and my love for A.I. and nuclear power itself! I hope this Idea will be acknowledged and may help those in the future that are suffering from power insecurity!
Headteacher’s Message:
We finish on Friday, 22nd December at 1:00pm. The school buses have been confirmed for 1:00pm and will run as normal.
All pupils will return to school on Tuesday, 9th January 2024.
Councillor Afrasiab Anwar MBE was the special guest at our Presentation of Awards.
Pupils came off timetable to take part in Bollywood dancing, calligraphy, climate change lessons and more as part of Inter-Faith Day which was a real celebration of all the lived faiths in our community.
Blessed Trinity held a poignant ‘Afternoon of Remembrance’ with cadets, current service personnel and veterans enjoying entertainment, coffee and cakes.
Year 6 pupils had the chance to explore Alice in Wonderland, solve Maths logic puzzles and look at explosive science reactions at our Open Evening.
It was a jam-packed night for our oversubscribed school as prospective pupils and their parents and guardians had a tour around the school, heard from Headteacher Mrs Williams and also took part in a myriad of activities in each department.
Blessed Trinity are teaming up with Nest Lancashire to provide support for our young people aged between 8-18 who have been affected by crime.
Year 7 pupils got the chance to sign up to a variety of extra-curricular clubs at their Extra-Curricular Fair.
There were too many clubs to list but there was something for everyone, including Textiles, History, Equalities Club, Philosophy, Performing Arts, Eco-Club, Sports Club, Film Club and more.
There has been baking, maths puzzles, French and sport at our Summer School.
Headteacher Mrs Williams is proud of the Class of 2023 as they received their GCSE and vocational results today:
Sixty pupils were out on their Duke of Edinburgh bronze qualifying expedition at Pendle Hill.
Our Year 11s have worked hard and have shown superb determination, maturity and resilience.
After completing their GCSEs we asked a few to come back and talk to us about their aims for the future.
