Junior is on target at darts!

Year 11 Junior is revising as well as boosting his darts career!
Junior has been playing darts for over three years and is part of Blackburn Youth Darts Academy.
He admitted he was buzzing after attending a Junior Darts Foundation (JDC) event in Coventry at the end of March.
“I came in the top 64 in the UK at Under 18 level which was a massive boost for me,” said Junior.
“The ‘Luke Littler’ effect is making darts popular and it is competitive.
“At the last event I just missed out on ranking points so there is another Foundation Tour event in the next few weeks and I hope I can start collecting ranking points there.
“I am in the top 64 so the next aim is to get into the top 32.
“I practise two hours a day and am really hungry for it - but I do revise as well as I want to do well in my GCSEs.
“The dream is a Tour Card but you have to get into the top four for that. I am a long way off that yet but anything can happen - you have got to dream!”
