It’s a national competition where pupils are put forward by their maths teacher to sit the exam, which is multiple choice questions.

103 pupils took part from Blessed Trinity and Dylan achieved gold, with 92 points, while seven pupils collected silver awards and 29 achieved bronze.

Dylan will now go through to the next stage which is the Junior Kangaroo round.

Dylan said: “It was tricky but maths is one of my favourite subjects and I hope to do something with maths in the future.”
