The idea was to wear yellow and raise funds to show young people they're not alone with their mental health.

We had props and a cake sale to raise awareness and funds.

Mrs Pagliuca said: “You can teach about mental health but this campaign was more visual and encouraged pupil engagement.”

Year 10 Danni, who is part of the School Council who took charge of this day, said: “We wanted to raise awareness and it was my idea to put chicks on our heads which drew more attention to us and got more people talking about why we were doing it.”
