Our Year 7s grabbed the chance to sign up to  a number of our exciting clubs at our Extra-Curricular Fair.

There was something for everyone as the clubs pupils could sign up for included Eco Club, Book Club, Science Club, Chess Club, Art Club, Music Club, Philosophy Club, Textiles Club, IT Club, Modern Foreign Languages Club, Warhammer Club, Sports Clubs, Sport Ambassador Club and Equalities Club.

They could also join Burnley Youth Theatre and Premier League Kicks activities.

Year 11s Jayden and Jason run the Warhammer Club alongside Mr Horne.
Jayden said: "It's a game where there are different armies and it’s different each time you play.”
Jason added: “I enjoy building, painting and assembling all the parts for Warhammer.”

Year 11 Maisie, along with Year 7 Blossom, helped to promote the Performing Arts Club. Maisie said: “I have appeared in the school shows including Jesus Christ Superstar, Little Shop of Horrors and High School Musical. I enjoy them.”

Year 8 Erikas was encouraging pupils to join the Music Club. “I play clarinet and cello. I love music and love to sing.”

Year 9 Lily was helping with Science Club. She said: “I love Science Club. You do loads of different experiments, get to try new things and find out some answers.”

Year 7 Ella was enjoying looking around the fair. “I have joined Art Club and Book Club so far.”

Year 7 Blake will be action-packed! “I have signed up to MFL, Chess, Science, IT, Book Club, Warhammer and fitness. I want to busy.”

Year 10 Alix and Harvey help to run the Eco-Club. Alix said: “This gives us a chance to communicate with other years groups and help to protect the school environment. It’s a very relaxed club so we hope it helps people talk and make new friends.”
