Job title: Curriculum Leader of MFL   

Grade: Main Pay Scale – Upper Pay Scale Plus TLR 1.2 MAX

Contract Type: Permanent

Blessed Trinity RC College is a busy, over-subscribed, 1250 place 11-16 establishment.  We have an amazing, purpose built school, enabling us to provide the very best teaching and learning opportunities within a bright, modern facility. 

The school is located in extensive grounds and is situated close to Burnley Town Centre.  The school is easily accessed from across the region by bus, train and car and is located just five minutes’ drive from the M65, Junction 10. 

The Board of Directors of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust alongside The Governors of Blessed Trinity RC College, are looking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced individual to join our school.  The post holder will play an important role within the school leading the curriculum within MFL and will be supported by an able team of professionals.  We currently teach Spanish and French, but would be open to a discussion around introducing a new language.

This would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced, ambitious, individual with a proven record of securing strong pupil outcomes within MFL to develop further within a large organisation.

• Can build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike
• Is willing to support the ethos of the school

The post includes TLR 1.2 MAX responsibilities, therefore it is essential candidates are able to demonstrate their leadership abilities and how they would enhance effective curriculum delivery throughout the school.
